Our climbing park – The Höhenweg Arena
Europe’s largest climbing park is looking forward to your visit. In the middle of the Lüneburger Heide, surrounded by forest, heath and savannah landscape, our climbing park offers a fantastic view not only at 30 m height.
Our climbing park in Schneverdingen is not a conventional climbing forest but an artificial facility with 19 masts, 6 floors, over 150 climbing stations, four zip lines and two abseiling stations and everything in a former tank washing facility.
Our climbing park offers easy and difficult tasks, low and high climbing stations. There is something for everyone. Certified by Tourismus Marketing GmbH Niedersachsen as particularly child-friendly, we are especially looking forward to children and families. We have no age or size restrictions. Children from 7-8 years can usually climb on their own in our climbing park.
Accompanied by Mom and Dad our youngest guest was just 2.5 years old. Our oldest guest, a Swiss, successfully entered our climbing park at the age of 85. And now once again a small film on the right and our unique selling points at a glance below:
Number of climbing stations: with over 150 tasks in the Höhenweg Arena climbing park and 40 tasks on the Sky Tower, several zip lines and four free-fall abseiling points, a second or third visit is also worthwhile.
At a height of up to 30 m there is the possibility of climbing on 6 levels in our climbing park.
Spectators can walk unsecured through the staircase of the HöhenwegArena climbing park up to the 100 square metre viewing platform at a height of 8 metres or watch the action from our sandy beach in the safe beach chair.
The trainers take care of the climbers at eye level. This enables a quick crisis intervention.
The safety system used ensures continuous safety, which makes it impossible to unhook, but offers a free choice of route and overtaking possibilities.
The climbing park “Höhenwegarena” does not provide a fixed course order, so you can choose for yourself at any time.
The stations are divided into three levels of difficulty (black/ difficult, red/ medium, blue/ easy).
Our climbing park is therefore not only suitable for athletes, but also for children and seniors.
The concept of the climbing park reliably avoids congestion in front of stations, as it is possible to switch to other tasks at any time.
The Sky Tower, the “one that does it all”
The Sky Tower, our “the one that does it all”. High ropes course and low ropes course and climbing park in one.
The Sky Tower is so unique that we immediately protected the concept. It has been specially designed for groups and teams, and can be used for team and management development, company excursions and incentives as well as just for fun.
Other than in our climbing park HöhenwegArena, the Sky Tower can only be booked exclusively for teams or groups and is accompanied by specially trained trainers.
On an area of 65 square meters, our Sky Tower offers a total of 40 climbing station team tasks with top rope protection, clip and climb sports climbing tasks, climbing park tasks and low ropes course tasks.
The team members secure each other within the framework of team trainings. Trust, responsibility, clear communication and teamwork are the basic requirements for a successful execution.
In addition to being used as a classic team high ropes course, the Sky Tower can also be used independently with a permanent safety system.
In addition, we have a sporty variant, our “Clip and Climb Concept”, which only climbs vertically upwards and an automatic safety device takes care of the securing.
Furthermore, at a height of 16m there is the landing spot of the adrenaline zip line, which starts 200m away at 30m in the HöhenwegArena. To increase the adrenaline level a little, there is a base-jump after the zip line.
Further information about our Sky-Tower can also be found in the construction and conception of climbing facilities.
The team high ropes course was our first climbing forest in Schneverdingen
The high ropes course in Schneverdingen, built in 2000, was one of the first high ropes courses in Germany. In cooperation with the surrounding hotels, we have been conducting action-oriented team and management training here for 19 years now.
Our team ropes course is located in a 200-year-old oak grove surrounded by coniferous forest. It is located about 7 minutes walk from the Hotel Camp Reinsehlen. This location allows an undisturbed working atmosphere. The high ropes course has 14 elements. Thirteen elements are connected with each other, but can also be used individually by own ascent possibilities. It is secured by a so-called Toprope safety device. This means that at least two further persons are active for each actor in the ropes course and the actor can leave the ropes course at any time.
More than 70 persons can be active at the same time. The participants receive standardized safety material for the activities in the high ropes course, which consists of chest and seat belts, 3 screw carabiners and a helmet.
Depending on the task, the high ropes course can be used as a medium for material and / or relationship topics. The tasks are designed in such a way that participants who cannot or do not want to climb the high ropes course take on alternative and equally important tasks.
Resource orientation can and should be lived here. Everyone is invited to contribute within the scope of their possibilities, to try themselves out and to support the team. This is not necessarily done by climbing, but also by assuming tasks and roles that are necessary in the sometimes very complex learning scenarios.
The high ropes course is only used exclusively within the framework of seminars and workshops.
The low ropes course
The low ropes course or our team course consists of fixed and partially mobile tasks and exercises that can only be solved together in a team. Here is a selection:
- Spider’s web
- Mohawk Walk classic
- Mohawk Walk modern
- team rocker
- acid pond
The multitude of tasks and their modification possibilities allow a design that is adapted to the current team situation.
